[As much as she tried to hold it back, she couldn't resist the immediate scoff that left her. Semantics. Technicalities! And she hated that he responded to her so nonchalantly, like nothing she wanted mattered. But how had that been any different than how she'd been treated before? It really hadn't been. Except this time it wasn't because she had horns and a tail. At least, she was relatively certain it had nothing to do with that.
It was just Astarion being Astarion.
His warning, however, was something she hadn't expected. She certainly imagined he hadn't eaten for... likely days. Quite possibly not much since they'd arrived in the Shadow-Curse to begin with. Although she'd once offered to him to help where he needed it, she hadn't asked, hadn't pried, hadn't made the offer again since then. And his warning very well might have been the only one he was willing to give.
Studying him for some moments, suspecting that everything she'd said had gone in one pretty pointed ear and out the other, she decided to proverbially throw up her hands. If he wasn't going to listen, she wasn't going to bother wasting her time speaking. It was as simple as that. Drawing back from him, she reached for the journal he'd retrieved amidst his... whatever it was he was doing and she brought herself to her feet making way for the entry to his tent where she paused for just a moment before she looked back to him.]
