Well, love, I felt no divine smithing yet so she must agree with me. Moonmaiden.
[Him? Absolutely having no faith in any god of the entire phanteon? More likely than anyone thought.
As for the tent, one could make a case about hoarding, but he went from a spawn who had nothing and was barely able to hold onto a piece of cloth and hide it from his master, the smallest consolation, to being allowed to take anything he desired. He still had to make up his mind about what he liked or not but in the meanwhile everything found place between his bags and whatnot.
But he was silent, he didn't show her any of her latest prized possessions and merely leaned down on the side to rest his head against the bedroll, resting his muscles more than his body as a whole. She needed time to read, he was in no hurry to push her out and he wasn't in the mood to ask himself why he was comfortable in having the woman in his personal space when last time Shadowheart tried to step in to talk about his findings he almost hissed at her.]
Mh? [He opened his eyes to look at her, not moving a single part of his body from the current position.] I have no idea. Hours? It's hard to tell with this goddamn darkness covering everything.
[For once, she was the one overthinking this. If he had any idea of her suspicions, he would have pointed out that he didn't ask her for anything and just handed over the journal, but he would have undestood her reserves. He was an asshole with everyone most of the time.]
On the where... huh... near the tower's bridge. No bodies nearby. I spotted it because it was clean, unlike the rest of the road. I- part of my scouting has me collect journals and books, reaching an elevated and secured spot and reading them. And burning them when I realize Gale may enjoy them.
[He was so going to start doing the same with any druidic tome.]
From the little I can see it was dropped by something passing by and not too far ago, my main theory is that this and other items were stolen and it fell while they were taken to the tower. Then again, that's what the area was telling me. I paid little attention to the surroundings before leaving, something moved on the other side of the bridge and I was quick to leave. I am very good at my job, but I don't think I want an army run after me.
[He wasn't going to tell her he also spotted an entire army ready to march toward Baldur's Gate, there was a thin line between heroism and stupidity, he didn't know if Nepione and the rest of the party would stop before crossing it.]

But yes, it's yours. You're welcome, by the way.
